Casiopea Vs Tsquare Dvd Code And OtherThey became famous in the late 70s and early 80s along with other Japanese fusion bands. Its most successful lineup included guitarist Masahiro Andoh, bassist Mitsuru Sutoh, saxophonist, flutist and EWI player Takeshi Itoh, keyboardist Hirotaka Izumi, and drummer Hiroyuki Noritake. They are known for songs such as Truth, Japanese Soul Brothers, Takarajima, and Omens of Love among others. Truth was used as the theme for Japans Formula One (F1) racing events from 1989 to 2000. An Arrangement of said tune, Truth 21c was used as the theme for Japans F1 2001 and 2002, respectively, and other remixes of Truth were used from 2003 to 2006. This two and a half hour concert features each band performing separate sets on the first DVD, and then the Fusion Battle on the second DVD. CASIOPEA: Issei Noro - Guitar; Minoru Mukaiya - Keyboards, Synthesizer. THE SQUARE: Masahiro Andoh - Guitar; Takeshi Itoh - Sax, EWI, Flute. This three DVD set is a three and a half hour career retrospective beginning with 1979 footage from the famous Roppongi Pit Inn in Japan. This features their two Bass players Tetsuo Sakurai and Yoshihiro Naruse, and their two Drummers Akira Jimbo and Noriaki Kumagai. The live music segment of the DVD, also included are discussions with the band. The FIRST DVD Joia Casiopea World Tour was recorded live in Japan, Brazil, Australia, Mexico, and the US during July-September 1988. The FIRST DVD Casiopea Live (DVD5) features the band recorded live on April 27, 1985 in Tokyo. The SECOND DVD Casiopea Perfect Live (DVD9) features Casiopea live with Special Guest Yuko Kusunoki on Vocals and Percussion (Three Tracks) on December 27, 1986 in Tokyo. Contains plenty of footage from their career heyday between 79 and 86. Also includes plenty of Previously UNPUBLISHED MATERIAL Contains 22 track.
